Why Must Christians Preach the Gospel?

Romans 1:18-21 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power, and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, the did not honor Him as God, or give thanks…

Romans 2:14-15 There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, but glory and honor and peace to every man who does good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God. For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law; and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law… For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness…

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Luke 16:19-31 Parables assume the reality of hell: “the poor man died and he was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried. And in Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment… and said, “… I am in agony in this flame.” But Abraham said, “…between us and you there is a great chasm fixed…”

Matt 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate, for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and may are those who enter by it.”

John 3:36 John answered and said… “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

John 3:18 Jesus answered and said to [Nicodemus]… “The one who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Matthew 25:31-46 “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and he will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left… The He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels…’ And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men, by which we must be saved.

John 14:6 “No one comes to the Father except through me”

Rom. 10:13-15 Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
