Foyle Evangelical Missions Information Service, 1987 The book explores stress as related to singleness, marriage, family, adolescents, culture shock, interpersonal relationships and re-entry. The chapters on missionary selection and missionary relationships are particularly helpful.
- Missionary Care: Counting the Cost for World Evangelization, by Kelly O'Donnell, ed. William Carey Library,1992 More than 20 authors have contributed to this handbook for developing and supporting missionary personnel.
- ReEntry, Making the Transition from Missions to Life at Home, by Peter Jordan YWAM,1992 This is practical and enjoyable to read. It will help missionaries to prepare and their friends to understand.
- Too Valuable to Lose, Exploring the Causes and Cures of Missionary Attrition, by William D. Taylor William Carey Library, 1997 This valuable and comprehensive study also provides thoughtful prescriptions. It includes a thorough list of missionary care and assistance sources.
