Kingdom Building Ministries

"The mission of Kingdom Building Ministries (KBM) is to partner with the body of Christ to raise up new generations of laborers for Kingdom service worldwide. Our vision is to raise up one million laborers by the year 2004 who become catalysts for movements of prayer, growth in the local church, and the completion of the task of world evangelism."

One major focus of KBM is itinerant speaking. Not only do the staff speak all over the nation in local churches, calling out laborers for the harvest, they also train others to do the same through a "Communicator's Summit." The Summit held last September covered how to communicate with passion, how to write for a publisher, and how to take charge of your calendar and personal life. The next one will be held in the Fall of 1996.

KBM also has the Laborer's Institute, a 3-stage training school for raising up laborers who will live out spiritual disciplines, intercede for the world, win people to Christ, and disciple others for a lifetime of Kingdom service. Mentoring stage--classroom and personal mentoring focused on personal spiritual disciplines. Ministry Stage--short-term project to a 10/40 Window con\untry. Mobilization Stage--challenge potential laborers through speaking at local churches and other Christian fellowship groups across the U.S. Dates for Laborer's Institutes in 1996: Jan 13--Apr 4 and May 18--Aug 8. Cost: Approximately US$4,500. College credit available.

KBM's 1996 "Life Investment Service Teams" include mime and music evangelism in Kenya (May 31-Jun 14), Classes and friendship evangelism in Hong Kong & China (July 14-31), and street witnessing and drama in England and Ireland (Aug 5-20) The cost for each is approximately $2,500.
